Cabaret Jaune Citron in Minneapolis

Cabaret Jaune Citron, a musical penned by Stéphane Ly Cuong for which An Ton That has written half of the songs, will see its American adaptation premiered on January 25th 2015 at the Playwrights’ Center, Minneapolis, as part of the New Eyes Festival presented by the Mu Performing Arts company.

The play will be presented as a reading performance, and directed by Katie Bradley, with Hope Nordquist as Yvonne Nguyen, Wes Mouri as Harold (Laurent in the French version) / Nam, and Jeannie Lander as Ma.
The Mu Performing Arts was founded in 1992, and is one of the largest pan-Asian performing arts company in the US and aims at giving voice to the Asian American community.
For its American version, Cabaret Jaune Citron has been renamed Lemon Twist.
