EEL 河鰻 has been shortlisted in seven categories at the 27th Taipei Film Festival, including best international new director (Chu Chin Teng), best actor (Devin Pan), best cinematography (Nguyễn Vinh Phúc), best music (Tôn Thất An) and best sound (Yan Sheng Wen). The Taiwan premiere of the film took place on Saturday June 20th and all the seats quickly sold out!
The interviews for the press and the Q&A that followed the screening were joyous and lively, with most of the team in attendance.
