Snake in the Dreamscapes 夢蛇 a film by Taiwanese director Lou Yi An 樓一安 will be one of the new film projects that Tôn Thất An will be scoring for. After the disillusioned youth of the crime drama Goddamned Asura 該死的阿修羅 (2021), Lou Yi An’s new film follows over three generations the fate of two families who are connected by the same eerie dream of a red snake.
Shooting has begun in late June and will last until end of July.

Tôn Thất An and Lou Yi An met in late 2025 when the latter attended one of the performances of Eel during the C-Lab Festival. He was quite impressed by Tôn Thất An’s score and immediately envisioned how his musical universe would work in an upcoming film project for which he was writing the screenplay.

Cinematographer is by Chen Chih-Wen (A Foggy Tale, Age of Goodbyes, Marry my dead Body), and the film will feature an ensemble cast including Lin Yi-Ting, Lai Hao-Zhe and Chen Chia-Kuei, who were both in Lou’s Goddamned Asura,; Michael Chang Feng Hao (Black Tea), Huang Li-Feng (Ambiguous Focus, Undercurrent) and Bella Chen (Eel) among others.
